Concert Flutist &
Flute Teacher
I’m Tori, a flutist and flute teacher in the Bay Area supporting students in their growth as well-rounded, mindful musicians. I also perform in a wide range of settings, striving to incorporate a variety of different genres beyond just classical music.
FACULTY POSITION & PERFORMANCE HIGHLIGHTS
Lessons from Tori have truly been a joy to take. Her guidance has made songs that I once dreaded seem like a piece of cake. I have improved more than I would ever have imagined since learning from her — in my technical abilities, tone, and overall musicality. With Tori's help I am now thriving as the first chair in orchestra, playing solos in practically every piece, and experiencing amazing new musical opportunities, such as performing with my orchestra at Carnegie Hall. You can't go wrong taking lessons from Tori!
Coral, high school student
I love being a musician. I love the challenge, the beauty that it brings to my life, the determination it takes, and the ways that I can use the flute to explore and express myself in ways that words can’t. Music has been invaluable to my growth as a person, beyond my identity as a musician. I’m so honored to be able to provide this opportunity to my students as well.

Experience the Music
Tori is amazing! She gives new meaning to the word differentiation. She has students who are winning contests and others who struggle to get beyond book one — everyone gets the same full attention and the joy of making music. She makes the lesson fun and is always positive and gently moving one forward.
